CT Insider: Yale reinstates standardized test requirement for first year and transfer student admissions

Amy Dowell executive director of the nonprofit Education Reform Now CT, said she understood Yale's resoning for bringing back standardized testing for admissions, but would have preferred they didn't. 

'I think it's better that (colleges) are not requiring them as a broad equity issue,' said Dowell. 'In terms of college applications we have to be flexible in terms of considering all students and how they choose to present themselves as a candidate for a college.'
