In Part 4 of this series, experts discuss how the science of reading can support students with dyslexia, and how training educators in literacy can help districts and schools to meet all students’ needs.
Every student has a right to read...and there's a right way to teach them. That's why, in 2021, the Right to Read CT Coalition and CWCSEO will present a series of virtual forums about how and why Connecticut can embrace the science of reading. This series dovetails with a legislative effort to better prepare Connecticut educators and students by systematizing a statewide, research-based response to literacy. By taking action now, we can address COVID learning loss, a history of civil rights inequities, and the need for a skilled workforce.
