Jan. 28, 2021: A Literacy Initiative for Equity

Every CT student has a Right to Read... and there’s a right way to teach them. Connecticut students are facing unprecedented academic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. When students in our state return to the classroom full time, we must set all of them up for success. That means using research-based literacy instruction in every school, and for every child. Join us in a conversation on January 28th, hosted by the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity, to learn more about a legislative effort to systematically change the way Connecticut prepares educators and students based in the Science of Reading.
